Travel Information
Train
The scenic train trip from Sydney (Central Station) to Wollongong is 90 minutes and is located on Sydney Train's South Coast Line. Sydney Trains operate commuter trains at regular intervals to Wollongong.
If travelling from the domestic or international airports catch a train on the airport line to Wolli Creek Station. Disembark and board the next South Coast Line train to Wollongong. This journey will take approximately 90 minutes from Wolli Creek Station.

The Novotel Wollongong Northbeach is within easy walking distance from North Wollongong Station, or catch the FREE Gong Shuttle Bus from Wollongong Station and get off at the Bourke Street stop just outside the hotel.
Driving
Driving to Wollongong is easy and the quickest route from Sydney is on the M1 Princes Motorway. About an hour's drive, you'll need to take the Mount Ousley Road exit as you drive down Mount Ousley coming into Wollongong. From here turn right onto the Princess Highway, then a left onto Bourke Street and head straight to the beach where you'll find Cliff Drive and the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach.
If you're feeling particularly leisurely in making your way there, the Grand Pacific Drive is the most picturesque way to get from Sydney to Wollongong. Taking the Helensburgh exit off the Motorway, continue on through Stanwell Park and follow the well-signed coastline to Wollongong.

There are two levels of parking directly underneath the Hotel with internal lift access to the lobby and function rooms.
Discounted parking for LCSA Conference delegates is $25.00 per vehicle per night (usually $39.00).
